Everyone is welcome and accepted at all GVAS events. You will become more confident outside while we learn about birds and their habitat.

We are partners with the local organization, Rochester Accessible Adventures rochesteraccessibleadventures.org/ , and recently received training on inclusion for our community events. Just let us know when registering if there are any accommodations needed. We are including additional details in our event descriptions to help you make a decision.

National Audubon Society also formed a partnership with a national organization called Birdabilty. This partnership helps chapters ensure birding truly is for everybody and every body! We learned how to assess trails in our area and share that information with Birdabilty. See details below on the trails we assessed in 2022 along with links to trail information.
